I played with my V1, 3.891 (late-2011 release) on my favorite speed camera to show how detection varies depending on programming. All bands were enabled at all times. The first run was with Ka Guard-off, and POP-on. The second was with Ka Guard-on, and POP-on. The third was Ka-Guard-on, and POP-off. The fourth was Ka-Guard-off, and POP-off, but this final run was ruined by a LEO shooting Ka-band radar close to my proximity. The speed camera is 34.6 GHz What does this test suggest? 1) Ka-Guard decreases range slightly. 2) Ka-Guard decreases range to a lesser degree than on the previous model V1, the 3.872. 3) POP slightly decreases Ka-band range on all bands above 33.9 GHz, because no Ka-band POP operates at a higher frequency. Therefore, the scanning is at the lower frequency and not at the 34.6 GHz, which this speed camera happens to be. The decrease was small and not surprising, but it is still worth noting. 4) The 3.891 has had an increase in Ka-band performance both with and without Ka-Guard being turned on. I made this in about an hour or 2 this afternoon between filming and editing, but it highlights the positives and negatives rather well I think. Enjoy.

Just did a small test with my friend, i was holding the radar outside the car aiming the side of the road, as you can see it work pretty good, and i had the revo with the GPS on my knees, My friend was trying to get 60 mph and hold that speed, 60mph= 97 kmh It was made exactly where we do our speed runs. Thx for watching! sorry no RC this time lol ...we broke the slipper pad on the revo.
